Can I freeze rose petals?

Obviously this isn't the recommended thing to do, but I'm making my own beer with rose petals. I'm only putting in about one or two roses worth of petals (total guestimate) and I bought a box of petals at the store the other day with a lot more. I won't need to use them again for about a month so I'm wondering whether this would work? I already put them in the freezer because it was either that or let them wilt anyway.
