Can i use my digital video camera for my webcam?

I have a digital video camera (it's a bit old now but works perfectly) which can be plugged with an USB to the PC, and I was wondering if I can use it as a webcam for my PC? So, can I? Or do I need special ones? Waiting for a response. Cheers. P.S.:...
