Can you buy things online with a Simon Mall gift card?

I Got $100 as a mall gift card But i don't like any of the stores plus the mall is small and doesn't have variety. I know that at the mall they sell The Gift Card but they also sell the American Express gift card..and with that i would be able to shop...

so i have a simon mall visa gift card. many people have told me that i can use it on amazon...but the thing is...whenever i type in the card info...amazon sends me an email saying it has been declined. i think i may be doing something wrong when typing...

That's kind of a confusing question- but what I mean is lets say you get a gift card for a mall can you use that gift card to buy a separate one to a different store ? :)
