Does whole foods pay their employees weekly or bi-weekly?

I just got hired on and I start this Tuesday. I'm a cart clerk. Does anyone know how much the starting pay is? I'm guessing minimum wage, but other websites have said 12-17 dollar range? I believe it's only on the west coast, so a lot of you might not...
