How can I burn movies?

I have a burnt DVD+R disc that i borrowed from someone and it has 3 movies on it, but when I burn my own movies I can't even fit one whole movie onto the disc i had to split the movie into two 4.7 GB discs. I would like to know how to be able to it that...

Hi guys,I got a pioneer dvd player which can play dixX files.I got many movies in my pc which i like to watch using my dvd player. The thing is how can I write these .avi files on dvd disk,(i dont want to burn them to vcd as some movies come upto 3 vcds...

So I have some movies in AVI and WMA format on my computer. I would like to burn these movies onto DVDs to watch on my TV and in my car. Can you please tell me how I can do that at reasonable speed?

i burned 1 380mb divx movie on this dvd but it wont burn any more movies to my dvd i tried burning a 383 mb movie and it says insert blank dvd. How can i burn more than 1 movie to this dvd?? plzzz help

I can purchase Special Agent Oso cartoons for my 2 year old on Itunes. But, I can't burn them on a CD to play in his DVD (to keep him occupied on long car trips). How do I reformat them so I can burn them to CD and play them in a dvd player?

I've got movies off the internet that are avi but i don't know how to burn it from the computer onto a disk. it will let me do the mpg and the mp3 but it want let me do the avi. so can anybody help me?
