How can I use my cam on Yahoo?

I have downloaded and deleted yahoo messenger several times. Each time I can not use my web cam or voice call. I can not share pictures either no matter what version of messenger I download. What seem to be the problem....help

I have a built in web cam in my laptop, but can't figure out how to activate it when chatting on Messenger.
