What happened during the Holocaust

I am doing this report for The holocaust and I know that there was at least 100,000 people that were in the Auschwitz and i know that they ended up dead but what really happened?

I don't personally believe that, I do think it happened but I am curious what makes some people think it didn't happen? What evidence do they have for it not happening? I am curious about the non believers and what they have to say.

I ran into a person who still swore that the holocaust was fiction created to scare the jews into submission....How is it that people could actually believe this nonsense?????

Don't they have enough evidence, survivor stories, photographs, videos... or even the camps themselves? What in the world would possess someone enough to believe that it never happened? It makes me sick to think that people deny it and blame it all on...
