How do I change or edit my email address in yahoo?

I would like to change my email address name to mrwilliebryant78@yahoo.com from afrosmiles@yahoo.com

I'm in a yahoo group and I'm unable to change my email address. I clicked on "edit membership" and tried to add an addional email address. It (yahoo) ask me to verify my email address. I did and all it did was take me to my membership page...
