How do I erase my old key words from the search engine?

I have a lil bit prob with this lil search engine, when we input words to be searched in webworld, the word still can be used for another time without typing it fully, only first letter is enough and the full word you've typed before is gonna show up...

One puts in search criteria into the search field, thens clicks search or go. Prior search criteria is remembered and pops up. How does one erase prior search criteria?
