How do I work my dsi?

i bought the r4 ds for my dsi and it just came and now i found out that it doesnt work for the dsi is there any way i can hack it or change the settings on it to make it work for the dsi

I know the Dsi has an sd card slot that i can transfer music and pictures on, but could i get minigames from online, put them on the sd card, and then play them on the dsi? Can anyone explain if that will work or something similar? P.S. im NOT talking...
