My Action Replay DS freezes everytime I highlight New Super Mario Bros in the cheats menu. How do I fix this?

I only use this for Pokemon Pearl and Diamond. I have tried erasing everything but I cant. I can only make it half way down the list because it freezes on New Super Mario Bros. To make things worse, I lost my usb cord to connect it to the computer. WHAT DO I DO!?(home remedies)
