How do you transfer your itunes library to a flash drive?

How do transfer all my itunes library to a flash drive so i can send it to someone and will they be able to hear the songs without iTunes. I'm using a PC

So I've got a 16GB USB flash drive and I want to transfer 2,000+ songs on my iTunes library from my desktop to my new laptop. So can anyone please tell me step-by-step directions on how to do this? Thanks in advance!
