I recently had surgery to remove an abscess from my leg that developed from an infection. The nurse described the wound as 1cm deep and 2cm wide. It is still very painful and inflamed, i am taking antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and painkillers, and and the dressing is being changed daily using Kaltostat which is packed inside the wound. The surgeon, doctors and nurses are all a bit vague about how long it will take to heal as there are so many variables. My question is two parts. A) for how long...
