How long is the Easter holiday?

i'm particularly curious about how long it stays in the dollar stores, grocery stores etc.

I spent my Easter by going to great Church service. Then I went to my brothers house to eat dinner with my mother, sister, brother, his wife, her parents and my brothers two kids. My brother and I spent time talking about the Lord and Church for awhile...

Where i live (NYC) where Easter has turned into buying new clothes and sneakers and going out...where Easter is a religious day, not a commercial day.
