How to add my own photo on orkut profile?

I want to know how to change the photo of my profile in Orkut Mail ID Please help me I want to delete my old photo & want to add recent photo in my profile

when i try to change the photo ..i firstly go to edit profile and then click on change..After selecting the photo ,the process of loading starts up. but At the end , i get message "wait while we are open image croping"... But friends unfortunatelty...

Did what Awesome said it worked but not for long. Can't add my avatar to my profile i've done what Awesome said go to my activity, edit preff, etc and it worked for a while then went again . It wont export from the avatar page either options are customise...
