How to delete yahoo messenger account?

I am trying to delete an account off of yahoo messenger.I dont want to delete yahoo messenger,just one of my accounts.Does anyone know how.I am evidently retarted.I cant figure it out.Thank you.

I want to remove my yahoo id from a shared yahoo messenger on a computer, but keep the yahoo account. I just want to remove it from the drop-down menu of id's in the sign-in space when messenger first comes up.
