How to make a 3d movie?

i want to make a 3d hologram in my room thats about 18 inches tall like the live 3d hologram of miku hatsune in concert.

what programs can i use? and what are the steps to creating an animated movie? i want to do a 3d animation but never done it before. so i want to learn and start creating my own now.

I learned about 3-d glasses, polarization, and all that, and was wondering if there was a program, or something that could make some movie footage appear 3-d?
