I am currently caught between a marketing and economics degree. My goal career would be in areas of marketing research/analysis, PR, and financial advising. However, from job searching I've learned companies actually would prefer marketing as a major. Some say that marketing is just a plain out common sense degree and a waste of time to do as a major. WHAT IS THE TRUTH?!
