Is there any problem with the yahoo messenger server in the us, having problems loging in?

im chatting with my husband...then it sign out automatically...then i click my yahoo messenger to open it again...but when i click Yahoo Messenger it doesn't open....whats the problem? i ddownload again Yahoo Messenger but still it doesn't work out
