why is yahoo trying to shove their new "improved" homepage down our throats. I don't like the new page so I have to change it to classic view every time i log on. is there a way to make the change permanent?

The little options sign is gone, and I cannot change the background color of my yahoo homepage, it also would be nice if I could use a pretty background, is there a way to do this?
