My Desktop Computer won't turn on?

Okay so for like a year I hadn't used my desktop computer at least... and when I went to turn it on well it turned on but nothing appeared on the screen then I shut it off myself... I tried to turn it on again heard a weird kind of buzzing or high pitch...
