Uses for Dazzle capture card?; Can you connect a video camera to the Dazzle to use it as a webcam?

I'm worried mostly about the quality and use. I know for dazzle I would need to get the splitters for the red, white, and yellow thingies (sorry i forgot what they're called). But I'm not sure about Roxio. So tell me which you guys prefer.

Could it be any type of PC laptop and computer as long as it has a disc tray? Or does it only work for specific models like WINDOWS as an example? This is a dazzle pinnacle platinum HD by the way. Thanks!
