my vehicle is insured, registered and everything on the car works great. the only thing it needs is a smog check but my behind the wheel test is tommorow, can i still take the test even though i didn't have a smog test yet

why do people ask the route for DMV behind the wheel driving test? to me that would be cheating, what do you think you find this question frequently here (especially in California)
