What does the 4th of July in America mean to you?

Me I was not born in this great country. Instead I had to take a test and pass it in order to be sworn in as a citizen some 24 years ago. It is still a city of liberty that is set on a hill and a shining example of what liberty and democracy means for a people that can choose at certain points in time how their country governs its people.
