What is a good study habit?

We are going to take an IT certification test in October 1 but was only told yesterday. Basicically, I only have 2 weeks to study a very broad topic. We were given 5 books as review materials, with each book having about 250 pages. Any suggestions is...

have any good ways to study for a test/quiz??

for example im used to study with loud voice like i'm talking or teaching and sometimes fighting with someone, its ok but bad thing is that i cant study at a library. or a friend of mine used to study while watching football and generally in busy places...

I tend to have this thing, where I tell myself As soon as I get home, I'm going to finish all of my work! Well, when i get home i always get on Facebook hehe How should I actually STICK to a study habit?

If you can think of more than one, please provide so...I'm very bad at focusing on one subject for a long period of time, and I really need to learn an efficient way to study. Thanks for all your help! :)

study habits

i have really bad study habits and i need to bump up my average i play high school basketball and i am in 7th grade. i am also in advanced math. so i am never home and i need help with my math a lot. help?

Routine: I study for 45 minutes, and once 45 minutes has passed, I play chess for 10 minutes. I continue this pattern until I finish all of my homework.
