What is going on with my yahoo search?

When I do a search for something on Yahoo! or Google, and I click on the search results, I do not get the appropriate page, but an ad. Not one specific thing, it could be anything from ads for magazines to financial companies. And when I hit the back...

I've tried several times over the last few months to do a member search, and the result is always 0 no matter what criteria I put in. ex.: I put in just "male" and the result was 0.

For example:- When I search for National Lottery in the UK only, the number 1 response is to www.national-lottery.co.uk which I would expect. However, when I select that response (on the blue words) it resolves to several different sites.... and eventually...

I have 2 other different accounts. But I have a Yahoo account but no access to it. I put in my email address in the web search and then I click onto it. Then I would click onto the yahoo sign that said Yahoo sign in. I clicked on to yahoo.com status...

Yahoo Mail search is a joke now, doesn't search folders and return only one recent email i.e. I have 5 emails from Amazon and search for "amazon" returns only one. Without proper search unlimited storage is almost useless.
