What is the different between LED flash and Xenon Flash in a mobile phone?

please help me by explaining the difference between both flash types.

Does the LED flash have a major influence on the picture/video recorded with the phone, or is it only of minor importance?

I have a cell phone with a camera but it has no LED flash for it. I'm curious if there is any work around for that. If so, how much work is involved? Thanks.

Ok so basically I was just wondering ( if you have this phone than you know that when you call someone theres a series of, for me, blue and purple flashing lights wherer the flash is) - if you can change the lights and there colors at all. Thanks.

For work related reasons I need to take pictures sometimes in low light conditions. Therefore a Flash is critical. I've had my current phone for over 3 years and it is about to die (battery no longer holds charges, flash does nto work anymore, etc etc...

Basically, my wife went and lost one phone, and water damaged the second one beyond repair. She is not interested in smartphone functionality (I am), but a must have requirement for both of us is Xenon Flash, as we use the phones as our main camera.
