What's a good webcam compatible with windows 7 64-bit?

I have a Toshiba built in webcam with windows vista. When i try to start the webcam, it seems to start recording and i can see myself for about 2 seconds, then it goes blank.

I'm using Windows Vista 32 bit at the moment and Only 3 of my 4 gigs RAM are working (as shown on some pc check sites), i know that the max RAM on Vista 32 bit is 3 gigs, but the question is will my laptop work better if i have Vista 64 bit ? My laptop...
