What's a good website to search for apartments?

Please read the entire question before you post an answer. I hate it when people say stuff that I already know. I am looking for houses or large apartments for rent. I need a good website to search for this. I am planning on moving to the San Diego area...

I'm planning on going to school in Toronto, ON. I'd like to search some apartments online but I'm not sure where to start. I guess I'm asking for a Canadian version of Apartments.com or Forrent.com etc... Thanks in advance!

I need to search hotels/resorts by what the rooms offer. I need suites with eat-in kitchens and I am having the hardest time searching for that. Is there a good website that allows you to search by such specific amenities?
