No one who buys BlackBerry products actually cares about the Blackberry OS. RIM’s greatest assets are its email and messaging services. Could RIM possibly maintain these two assets while upgrading to the more modern Android OS?

Since a lot of developers have stopped developing for Blackberry OS, why not adopt Android but continue to offer the features that consumers love about Blackberry (their enterprise features, BBM etc.)?
