What video format does Zune support?

I am working on my project for ipad. I am adding video that support flash. "name.flv" Then I just hear from teacher just now, ipad does not support flash. So what kind format that can support video in ipad? Sorry for grammar.

I just purchased a 16 gig zune,, and I'm not able to sync videos,, I think it may have something to do with the videos files them selves,, because I have a few other videos that synced earlier. I was wondering was there some particular format that zune...
