Where are good rock clubs in Paris?

I am in my 40's and looking for jazz clubs, maybe rock clubs but not an area that is strictly "twenty-somethings". Any suggestions? I will be in Paris in March.

hi mates, i'll be in paris shortly, can anyone advice me the best dance clubs and nightclubs there? Or even just the most crowded party / clubbing venues of the city though obviously the best clubs and the best danceclubs are highly appreciated!
