Which mobile is better the Blackberry Bold or the Blackberry Bold 9700?

I am a university student, doing my major in international business, I would like to know which phone will help me out with documentation and editing documents. iPhone 4 or Blackberry bold 9700 ? and of-course an overall decision would be fine.
