Why won't my Yahoo email open?

I have to use IE tab in order to open email otherwise it keeps showing the news like when you first open the page.

I've tried both IE and Firefox. In both cases, when I log into Yahoo I use my hosted email address, the same way I've been doing it for years. When mail loads, it brings up my yahoo.com email, not my hosted email. In the drop down in the upper-left corner...
