Why won't my questions show up?

when i post a question in mens health its not showing up in the news feed thing that shows new questions. im posting this to see if this one will actually show up

It used to be I could sit on Unanswered Questions and get a feed of recent unanswered questions from the topics I subscribe to.  Now there's an Open Questions link that shows me as a top question a question from 2011! How do I easily see what new questions...

While it may not in fact keep people from asking questions it seems to put the focus on answers not questions. I think questions are fundamentally more useful than answers, and this feature bothers me a bit.

The only questions I can see were asked a week ago. Refreshing my page does not help, its just frozen to a week ago. However when I ask questions people answer them, so they must be seeing new questions. Anyone else had this problem? know how to fix...
