i forward an email without attachments and it goes through but the pictures do not get forwarded

pictures embedded in the original message are not forwarded on when using Yahoo email. I'm not sure any pictures have ever been forwarded on. Makes me look like a jerk to the people I've forwarded a message on to.

Whose computer stops the pictures coming thru on an email? The sender or the one receiving them? How can that be fixed?
