How can I open emails with attachments?

it has happened with everyone computer in my house, Have cleared cookies and still happens, but can hook up laptop to friends router and it works fine,

I have tried adding to my pop up blocker but that doesnt work either. I cannot negotiate web sites from emails either as nothing happens when you click on them they don't work either.

I can open any other emails, but emails that have attachments won't even load the message, the message just appears blank, sometimes i get a loading message but it never goes away.

I cannot open any attachments from my emails

Attachment gets scanned. Click on continue and instead of the box opening that asks if I want to open or save, nothing else happens. It is like that on all emails with attachments.
