How can I retrieve my contacts that I had with a previous yahoo account?

My yahoo account was hacked into. My user name and password were changed, as well as one of my security questions. Now all of the email from my folders are deleted, as well as my contact list. Does yahoo have them backed up for retrieval?

also only the inbox was imported from yahoo
