How do I do a better kickflip?

So, i know what it is and everything, but i don't know how to pop and flick at the same time. It always ends up as a bad kickflip or a weak popshuvit/shuvit. Is there anything i can do to get both at once?

Whenever i do a kickflip i always land sex change and i wanna just land a regular kickflip. I ride goofy so my right foot lands on the back of the board. Please help i wanna be able to just kickflip
