How do i delete the security toolbar at the top of my screen?

I need to delete my search information on the home page of yahoo. Can someone Anyone help a stista out.I'm not talking about the searches on the toolbar.

I do not want the YAHOO toolbar displayed on my screen and yet there is no option to HIDE it and regain the viewing space LOST by this unnecessary feature.
