How to put dvds into iPod?

I have an iPod Touch 8gb 1st generation. I've had it about 3 or 4 years, but still have no idea how to put dvds on it :L Is there a way I can do it ? I have Realpayer Free so I know how I can get Youtube videos on but is there any way to get dvds? Please...

plz help does any one know how i can save dvds into my itunes and then put it onto my ipod video. or if not saving into itunes just how to save them onto to my windows computer and i can figure it out to put it on my ipod video.
