My hotmail account isn't working?

I tried to add my friends from my hotmail account to my yahoo acount and it's not working it shows that they are offline yet on my hotmail account they are online. I'v also asked my friends to add me to there hotmail account but it still doesn't work...

okay whenever i go to hotmail.com and it allows me to type everything in but whenever i press enter i says that the site is having problems or hotmail isnt a site of passport or whatever then when i get on any other computer it works...it's been like...
