My mic Isn't working In yahoo chat?

Hi, just downloaded Yahoo Messenger 9, and the voice chat isn't working. I did the voice test and it works. Just that whenever I go to the chats, the voice bar doesnt even move/go up or anything, but it does show how many r listening... but no one can...

I want to know when I want to talk to someone on yahoo chat with my mic do I just click on call pc option or is there somewhere in yahoo that I need to turn the mic on?

my yahoo voice chat/ pc to pc thing isnt working. every time i go to call it kicks me off. what do i do? lol

in yahoo chat it says that my computer dosnt support the audio format for my mic what can i do. I run windows vista any help on how to change the format so that my mic will work on chat
