Why msn won't uninstall?

okay so im having troubly with my msn messenger so im trying to uninstall it but when I go to the control panel and go to "uninstall a programe" It doesn't even show up what does this meen?.. can I even fix my problem?.

im trying to uninstall windows live from my control panel but it wont let me, i know how to do it and what it's called, i'm not retarded, but it just won't uninstall it, it just freezes up? what do i do do?

Well basically I installed this Sweet IM thing and it let me on MSN for a couple of days and then when I tried to sign into MSN it had this Microsoft problem with MSN so I clicked send error support and then it says thank you for reporting blah blah...
