Will American DVDs play in Morocco?

Hello. My Mum & friends got me, since I am a huge movie fan, quite a few DVDs on my way from Czech republic to USA. However when I tried to play any of them on my father's DVD player, i got the same result every time...the screen got so blurry that...

In particular, can I watch an American Dvd on a German player? I know you cannot with Video tapes... And what about German Dvds on American players?

I know I can't play american dvds on a regular player because the tvs here are different, but what about a portable? Thanks

i bought a tv series off ebay its from a america but only two of them are working the rest say disc can not play due to regional restriction

i was thinking of ordering dvds off play.com, and some i really wanna get from America are availabe, one's that aren't out here in Europe. So if i was to buy them would they play like normal dvds? what's this region 1 deal with dvds? i saw somewhere...

I have an English playstaion 2 (ps2) that I use to watch all my DVDs on and to play games on. A relative has just come back from the US with a ton of American DVDs that I can't watch because they are for "region 1" dvd players and mine is apparently...

is it possible to play region 1 DVDs on a region 2 macbook without changing the drive setting? I can play them using VLC player on my PC but the mac just ejects the disc if I don't change the drive setting to region 1. Is there any way around this or...

I just signed up for Amazon, and I wish to purchase DVDs from there. But are the DVDs in America able to play on Australian players?
