Tabs not Loading in IE8?

i have YUI tabs from: http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/tabview/ i have 10 tabs up on a page and page loading takes for ever, its showing data from the database is there anyway i can make it faster?

For instance, try to load some heavy page as www.abduzeedo.com and load some links from that site in background tabs. While other tabs are loading, try to scroll the page.

When I open a new Explorer window, I get my homepage. When I open a new tab, I get my homepage again. Is there any way I can make my tabs open as another site? The only way it works for me is if it opens TWO tabs: the homepage and the page that I want...
